SpeedShopUK uses Protx to supply our online ordering mechanism. When you go through the checkout process, the credit card form you fill out is directly on Protx’s servers. SpeedShopUK does not have access to this credit card information and in the event of a refund being needed, SpeedShopUK will complete this through a terminal directly on the Protx web site again with no access to your credit card details.

The first order with SpeedShopUK will only be dispatched to the credit/debit card billing address used to pay for the order.

SpeedShopUK uses the industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) 256bit Encryption between our server and your web browser on all customer data pages.

When you register with SpeedShopUK you are providing the necessary data to complete your order. This data includes name, address, contact details and your email address and will not be passed onto a third party.

Apart from the normal order received and progress update emails, SpeedShopUK will only send an email if you have ticked the ‘sign up for a newsletter’ box during the registration process.

As is general web security practice, when registering for this site please use a unique password that you have not used on any other web sites. We are unable to retrieve or view lost passwords so if you have forgotten your login password please use the password reset facility at the login screen and a new one will be emailed to you.

Refunds and Returns

Firstly please contact us and describe what the problem is with the order and SpeedShopUK will do its best to assist.

SpeedShopUK will provide a return and refund on part or a complete order subject to the following conditions:

• All returns require a Returns Authorisation Number which must be stated clearly on the returned packaging. The returns Authorisation Number is obtained by contacting us by phone or email.
  
• All delivery costs are not normally refunded
  
• All goods that we are able to resell are subject to a 25% restocking fee of the original purchase price excluding delivery charges.
  
• Refunds are not given for goods that are returned in a condition that we can not resell on
  
• Special orders from ‘Bulk Buys’, custom made hoses, non-standard special fittings or custom length hosing will generally not be refunded but please contact us to discuss what SpeedShopUK can do.
  
• You are encouraged to use registered and/or insured carriage as SpeedShopUK cannot be held responsible for the loss of goods in transit to us. Please ensure that all items are adequately packaged as SpeedShopUK are unable to exchange or refund any damaged items.
  
• Any items which are faulty will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of SpeedShopUK. Should a replacement item be unavailable SpeedShopUK will offer an alternative product of the same or better specification. If this is not possible a refund will be offered.
  

SpeedShopUK cannot be held responsible for loss of data, loss of earnings, Carriage charges or any other loss incurred.

Acceptance of an order

If SpeedShopUK cannot fulfil an order due to item availability, supply chain price fluctuations, misprinted price or specification within the online shop or catalogue, technical faults or a problem outside SpeedShopUK control, SpeedShopUK may cancel the received web or telephone order and will notify you of the reasoning as soon as possible.

The point at which SpeedShopUK accepts an order is at the moment of dispatch or collection of goods and not through this website, initiated email or verbal communication.

By placing an order via our web site or on the telephone you are confirming that you agree with the Terms and Conditions as stated on this page.
