These are steel bulkhead fittings that have a metric thread on either end, included in the price is a metric threaded nut to suit.
They are made from steel and have a plated finish for corrosion resistance.
These fittings should allways be used whenever a hose needs to pass through a firewall, bulkhead or cover etc, it is not good practice to pass the hose directly through the hole without this fitting as there is a risk of the hose rubbing against the sharp edges of the hole and leaking.
They are re-usable and provide secure leak free connections and are suitable for fuel, oil, coolants, hydraulic oil, methanol and water.
