These are stainless steel bulkhead fittings that have a JIC thread on either end, included in the price is a JIC threaded nut to suit.
These fittings should allways be used whenever a hose needs to pass through a firewall, bulkhead or cover etc, it is not good practice to pass the hose directly through the hole without this fitting as there is a risk of the hose rubbing against the sharp edges of the hole and leaking.
This fitting is suitable for use in conjunction with the
Brake and clutch Teflon lined braided hose
and is the natural choice for race and rally applications.
